Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Final Allotment: How to Check Your Seat and Report to College

blog-image

13 Oct, 2026

The final result is out, and now comes the part that decides whether your seat is actually yours. If you took part in Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 Round 3 counselling, here is what to do next, step by step that will help you to get all the knowledge that will help during seat allocation.

Where Round 3 stands today

The Round 3 final (provisional) allotment result was scheduled for October 10, and allotment letters can be printed from October 11 to 15. Since today is October 12, the reporting window is already open. You have only a few days left, so don't wait.

The board published an indicative list on October 9, and it said the indicative list gives no right or claim to a seat. Only the final result and your generated allotment letter count. If you saw a seat in the indicative list, treat it as a preview and confirm it in the final result.

How to check your final seat allotment

1.Open the official portal at ug.neetrajasthan.com. This is the portal the board uses for result and merit list releases. Avoid third-party links claiming to be "direct result" pages.

2.Log in with your registration ID and password.

3.Open the Round 3 allotment section and check your status. You will see either a fresh allotment, an upgrade, or no allotment.

4.Compare the seat with your choice list. Your seat should match what you filled in. Choices from Round 1 and Round 2 were invalid, and everyone had to fill fresh choices for Round 3. If your result looks wrong, check it against the choices you saved this round.

5.Download and save the result PDF, and keep a screenshot too.

Print your allotment letter first

The allotment letter is your entry ticket to the college. The printing window runs from October 11 to 15, and the portal disables the option on the afternoon of the final day. Sources give slightly different cut-off times (12:30 PM and 2:00 PM). Don't rely on either. Print it today, and confirm the exact cut-off on the portal.

Documents to carry

Check the exact list in your allotment letter and application form. Based on the previous year's pattern, you should prepare:

•Two sets of the final printout of your submitted application form.

•Two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the original certificates listed in your application form, plus the online payment slip for the fee mentioned in your allotment letter.

•The original certificates themselves, for verification.

•Several passport-size photographs, your NEET admit card and scorecard, and your ID proof.

•Your category or domicile certificates, if you claimed any.

•Get the photocopies done and attested tonight. College reporting rooms get crowded, and a missing attestation can cost you a day.

Reporting to college: a practical plan

•Go early, and go prepared. Reach the allotted college during working hours with all documents in order.

•Pay only what the allotment letter says. Use the official online payment route given in the letter, and keep the receipt safe.

•Don't report before the final result. The board told candidates not to report until the final result was out and the allotment letters were generated. That rule is now behind us, so go ahead.

The rules that can cost you a seat

Round 3 is stricter than earlier rounds, so read this section twice.

•If you get a new seat or an upgrade in Round 3 and don't join it, you lose your security deposit and are barred from Rajasthan's stray vacancy round.

•After Round 3, if you have "joined" status, there is no further round for you. Joining is effectively your final decision, so be sure before you do it.

•Candidates who already paid in Round 1 or Round 2 and were not forfeited don't have to pay again.

Before you decide, think about whether the seat suits you. Consider the college, the branch (MBBS or BDS), and whether you would be satisfied with it for five years. If you have an AIQ or MCC seat that you prefer, work out what you would lose before skipping this one.

If you didn't get a seat

Check the final result carefully before concluding that. Don't panic if you are unallotted. Vacancies can still arise from resignations and candidates who don't report. Keep watching the official portal for notices about later stages, and remember that stray vacancy eligibility depends on following the rules above.

Common mistakes to avoid

•Trusting the indicative list as final. Always rely on the final result and your letter.

•Leaving printing to the last day. The portal option shuts off at a fixed time.

•Carrying only originals. Bring the required photocopy sets too.

•Ignoring the portal after allotment. Notices about extensions or corrections appear there first.

•Joining without thinking. With no further round after joining, the decision is final.

Final word

You've done the hard part: the exam, the rank, and the choice filling. What's left is paperwork and discipline. Check your result today, print the allotment letter, organise your documents tonight, and report to the college well before the window closes. If the seat is the one you wanted, join with confidence. If it isn't, read the rules on forfeiture before making your choice.

Good luck, and congratulations to everyone who made it through Round 3.
